Abstract: The purpose of NLP [neuro-linguistic programming] is to provide a human being with sufficient internal choices which allow him to move toward well being / what follows [in this chapter] then is an NLP technique adapted behaviorally to alcoholism treatment, coupled with several case demonstrations / the technique called Six-Step Reframe exemplifies some of the most significant tenets of NLP, the creation and behavioral installment of an internal repertoire of choices to deal effectively with presenting life events, the belief that individuals have all the resources they need to lead satisfying lives, that the therapist's primary job is to assist the client in accessing these internal resources and that all behavior, no matter how bizarre, makes sense in the context in which it was originated, case demonstrations of treatment of alcoholics or alcoholic systems using Bandler and Grinder's Six-Step Reframe Format as adjusted to alcoholism counseling (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2005 APA, all rights reserved).
